Hear You Me

This morning I'm going to try and and make up for having zero caffeine intake yesterday.  Six cups of coffee on its way! I have to work on my mom's invitations today.  You know, start and finish the whole project today, because I am a procrastinator likes to live on the edge.  I almost started the project last night but instead I had a margarita and watched my newly purchased collection of "Flight of the Conchords." It came to me highly recommended.  Even the Best Buy check-out guy had something positive to say about it.  And you know if he thinks its awesome, then it must be.

I keep glancing out the window to see if any birds are on the feeder I recently put outside.  I guess they rather stay warm someplace than eat my free food.  Almost every bird will scoop out the sunflower seeds and eat the other ones.  I think sunflower seeds must just be used as a filler, because birds do not eat that mess.

Today's song is "Hear You Me" from Jimmy Eat World.  I hate when music videos are taken from a movie. But alas...

All My Life

I thought today I would be back in the regular groove of things, but I'm not.  There is still ice on my back patio and that just isn't normal.  The grill had little icicles hanging off of it! Also, I haven't had a problem with the dog wanting to come back in.  She knows its freezing cold!

I haven't blogged in a few days and I hate that.  All weekend I worked in the house and actually completed the tasks at hand.  The Christmas stuff is now put away,  cleaned out the junk drawer, made room for my coffee supplies, and completed 10 loads of laundry!  Not much fun, but at least I won't have to do it this next weekend.  Tonight I hope to work on my blog.  I feel like everyone is surpassing me!  Even the husband has a new blog with measurable success.

Today's song is "All My Life" by KC and JoJo.  I love the opening piano part! It takes me straight back to middle school and slow dancing in the lunch room.  His name was Danny and he was severely allergic to milk.

Unwell

I am just itching for spring! Sunlight, flowers, yard work, laying out sunburn, birds, and butterflies.  Anything that is related to spring I want. And I want it now! Of course I am feeling this way as the weatherman predicts we may have snow this weekend.  Snow in the southeast means a light dusting or 1 inch of accumulated snow.  Really nothing to write home about if you lived anywhere else in the world.  But here, a rumored sighting of a snowflake makes the headlines. 

This weekend is NOT one of those lay around the house in pjs nurse a hangover weekends. I  have things to do and lots of them.  I hope my procrastination skills will leave me alone and I can check things off my list.
