Hear You Me

This morning I'm going to try and and make up for having zero caffeine intake yesterday.  Six cups of coffee on its way! I have to work on my mom's invitations today.  You know, start and finish the whole project today, because I am a procrastinator likes to live on the edge.  I almost started the project last night but instead I had a margarita and watched my newly purchased collection of "Flight of the Conchords." It came to me highly recommended.  Even the Best Buy check-out guy had something positive to say about it.  And you know if he thinks its awesome, then it must be.

I keep glancing out the window to see if any birds are on the feeder I recently put outside.  I guess they rather stay warm someplace than eat my free food.  Almost every bird will scoop out the sunflower seeds and eat the other ones.  I think sunflower seeds must just be used as a filler, because birds do not eat that mess.

Today's song is "Hear You Me" from Jimmy Eat World.  I hate when music videos are taken from a movie. But alas...

What Goes Around

So now I finally have my coffeemaker.  I did not have time to take it out of the box yet. Hopefully I will tonight. But I will have to go to the store to get cream, sugar, and coffee. The trip to the store will be well worth it for many reasons.  One reason being I will not have to bump into co-workers at the office coffeemaker. Some of them I don't want to talk to before my first cup, the others I don't want to talk to at all. Hah!

The in-laws gave me very nice clothes for Christmas.  They were all too small.  I cried and cried.  I was just trying to keep up the tradition of me crying every Christmas. I'm not sure why I do that, I'm always so happy and thankful!   So now I have to take the clothes back to the multiple stores they came from.  I think I will just return them and get the money back.  I refuse to buy larger clothes.  I can hold  the money until I magically shrink.  I have already made one change.  I will use one packet of sugar instead of two with my coffee.  Hopefully that will be the only change I will need to make.  (yeah right!)

I managed to take a cute animal pic this Christmas. It is not of my dog because she isn't cute right now. She needs a haircut and a bath!  The pic is of the mother's cat, Gracie.  She is the only cat the parents have ever had that does not bite me.  For that reason I really like her. This is a picture of her under their Christmas tree.

Today's song is What Goes Around by Justin Timberlake. The song on my iPod is 7:27 minutes long.  The video is 9:22 minutes long. I thought there was a cut-off time for the length of songs? You can watch the video if you have an hour or two to spare.

Diary of Jane

I can't believe it's happening.  I'm actually writing a blog! Wait, let me take some deep breaths.  No, my name isn't Jane.  But that is the title of the first song in my iPod when I selected "shuffle songs" just now.  That will be the clever way I title my posts. 

This blog will not be about coffee.  Although I am excited to be receiving a new coffeemaker on Christmas Day from the mother.  I have one now that I took from my parents home when I married and it's not used unless family members are in town.  But I can't wait to use the new one every day.  It is even programmable to start on its own. Currently I never make or have coffee on the weekends. I only have coffee at the office on weekdays. But all that will change in 4 short days.   Also, I can count on one hand how many times I've had coffee in the afternoon.  For some reason my body will not let me intake any coffee after 10 am.  It completely revolts against the idea.  I guess my taste buds are gearing up for lunch by then.  However,  this blog will not be about coffee.
