My Goodies

Well, it is Thursday.  One more day until Friday and then I can finally get some things accomplished 'round the house. One thing I need to complete is ordering my parent's invitations for their 30th anniversary party.  It is right around the corner!  My mom and I picked out a simple design that has two birds flying away from a tree. I think it is pretty symbolic and classy.

I wonder what the secret is to a long marriage?  Recently my parents had a building built in their backyard and one of them will hang out in there.  So when one is moody, the other can escape.  Maybe that is the secret? Besides the previous statement, I can tell they communicate pretty well,  so that probably helps too.  I think they are a great example.  My in-laws have been married for 26 years.  That too is fantastic.  The hubby and I have great role models when it comes to marriage.  

I'm a huge Ciara fan! Have you seen her in the video for Ride?  I can only dream of dancing like that. It really is something to see.  I wonder what her concerts are like.  Today's random song is My Goodies by Ciara. When this song first came out, I thought she was saying "my cookies".  Please enjoy.

Angel of Mine

Do you have a morning routine?  I do and the dog messed it up this morning.  Then I had to take a shower instead of post first, so I wouldn't be ranting the whole time.  I believe when your daily routine is not in order, and you become cranky (like I am), then that is a sign of getting old. Yay!

I didn't do anything last night besides watch The Biggest Loser.  It motivated me to not eat a bag of Oreos like I was planning to do, but that was it.  The contestants transformations are unbelievable!  I also love how crazy the trainers are too!  So much yelling and vomit!

I'm excited for this weekend. I will finally get my house in order,  use my iTune gift cards, and get mentally prepared for "life changes".  What are some songs that you listen to while working out?

Today's song is Monica's "Angel of Mine."  What a sweet sweet song!  I know every word.  Awwww this songs makes me smile. Thanks iPod!

Reunited

When the alarm clock went off this morning it really joggled my brain.  It took the longest time (3 seconds) to realize what that noise was.

Our plane ride was very smooth. Perfect weather, no delays, and no turbulence.  The worst part was the stiff fee for luggage.  I'm not sure how they get away with that, but they do.  When we fly Delta there are no fees, because the husband has status.  Woo woo!

The song Reunited has been in my head for the last few hours.  I sang most of it to the dog at a loud volume, completely sober.  I hope nobody recorded that.  I was so excited to see the lil pup, but she just seemed tired.  Now that I'm tired, she seems playful.  I watched this video and it just warmed my heart.  Its a little too sappy of a song when you think of a person, but just perfect when you think of a dog.  Have a great day!
